📘 Verb "to have" — Simple Present
« Have got » a la même signification que « have » : ça ne change pas le sens du verbe, mais « have got » est plus familier que « have » et s'emploie surtout en anglais britannique.
On l'utilise dans les cas suivants :
- La possession : Tom has got a beautiful house.
- Les caractéristiques physiques : Has she got long hair ?
- Les liens de parenté : They have got three children.
- L'obligation : You haven't got to stay.
- Les états passagers : I have got the flu.
- Dans certaines expressions : Have you got five minutes ?
Dans la négation et l'interrogation, on peut aussi utiliser do/does :
They don't have any children. = They haven't got any children.
